We're off the M5, Junction 27,  then scoot up the A361 towards South Molton, turn off at Rackenford and then its a 20minute potter along the winding deep lanes to Chulmleigh over the Taw and up and up and you're there. Phew.

3 miles from The Grove in Kings Nympton - perfect local gastro food and a top lean at the convivial bar

4 miles to ponder over to the New Inn at Robourgh where the mussels are to die for and the children spend the entire evening counting the smorgasbords of cat artefacts around the bar

or only 2 miles to The Red Lion in Chulmleigh for pizza, ale and noisy chatter of Saturday's sport to exaggerated farming tales...

It all happens down in darkest Devon.
